      <description descriptionType="Abstract">This dataset contains the spectral ratios between the Red and Blue (R-B) as well as Near Infrared and Blue (NIR-B) bands of 2 m Pleiades-1 (P1) multispectral satellite imagery of the coastal alluvial fan Guanillos (GUA) in northern Chile (21.97°S, 70.17°W). 
Both spectral ratios are sensitive to iron oxides. Restricted to detailed areas of interest (AOI), the calculated spectral ratios are attributed to the four alluvial fan surface generations, or morphostratigraphic units, Q1 to Q4. Results are stored in an individual .csv table for each spectral ratio.</description>
